Route 95 North to Exit 92/North Stonington/Pawcatuck, CT; turn right at end of ramp
onto CT Route 2 (Liberty Street), towards Pawcatuck; continue approximately 1.2 miles to the Route 78/Westerly, RI/Misquamicut Beaches entrance ramp on right; continue on Route 78 approximately 4.8 miles, crossing into RI, to the end, the intersection of U.S. Route 1; continue straight, crossing Route 1 onto Airport Road, approximately 1.2 miles to stop sign at the junction of Winnipaug Road; bear right at sign; continue straight .2 miles to second stop sign, turn left onto Watch Hill Road; continue .9 miles; just past the Sun Up clothing and gift shop, bear right at sharp left turn in Watch Hill Road (landmarks are the Avondale marker stone and the yellow house with lilac doors); turn right onto Avondale Road, continue .1 miles to stop sign, turn left; continue approximately
.2 miles to 47 Avondale Road, the Avondale Boat Yard.

Route 95 South to Exit 1/Route 3/Ashaway/State Beaches; turn right at end of
ramp onto RI
Route 3 South; continue approximately 4.5
miles to Route 78/Westerly, RI/Misquamicut State Beach (entrance ramp on left); proceed 2.3 miles to the end of Route 78, the intersection of U.S. Route 1; from there, follow the directions above.
